Editorial design for Carlos Edelmiro’s first book. The publication gathers the best texts about the author’s experiences around sound and its peripheries previously published in Marvin magazine. Displayed in a dynamic layout, where the Spanish and English texts live side-by-side but upsidedown, the book gets it’s personality with the eyecatching purple shade. Published by Aljuir with a 200 first edition’s print run and featuring softcover and 144 pages in a vertical half-letter size.

Concept, branding & type design for a corn mill, taqueria and restaurant by chef Santiago Moctezuma focusing on giving mexican heirloom-corn the value it deserves. Using prehispanic techniques for nixtamalization, Maizajo’s proposal stands out for its quality and taste.
Maizajo got the Michelin Guide recognition in 2024 and 2025.

Concept, branding & type design for a wine cellar with an exceptional food proposal in Mexico City’s Roma Norte neighborhood. Taking the wordmark as a starting point, a whole typeface was designed to build the visual identity based on geometric and stylized letterforms.
Maizajo got the Michelin Bib Bourmand recognition in 2024 and 2025.
